Every August the Surgeon’s Courtyard hosts Space UK as Venue 53 of the Fringe Festival.
August 2013 is no exception!
This year we will be doing a pop up kitchen with the chefs from Ten Hill Place Hotel.
The daily menu will be Aberdeen Angus burgers, harissa marinated haloumi kebabs, steak sandwiches and Cajun chicken burgers BUT more importantly this year we will be defying the laws of traditional barbequeing by cooking everything we can, in as many different ways as we want through daily specials!

Honey glazed suckling pig with sauerkraut
Garlic and rosemary razorclams
Pulled pork fajitas
Here are some of our ideas-
Smoked herring with fried potato and tarragon and lemon oil
Moules Mariniere with samphire and homemade bread
Hot smoked-on-the-bbq-venison with grilled potatoes and black currant jus
Grilled sardines with homemade alioli
Scottish Salmon Ceviche with fresh coriander, chillies, lime and red chard
Slowly braised lamb belly with plum sauce
Lamb loin chop with mint and Drambuie Jus and fondant potato
Haggis stuffed chicken ballotine with mustard whisky sauce
